A typical route

Your captain can change it on the day.

  1. Turtle Cove Marina

    Where the tour starts.

  2. Sand Dollar Cove

A sheltered cove near Pine Cay and Fort George Cay, a popular boat stop from Providenciales, with calm water, a white-sand beach and more depth than most spots in the cays for the larger charter boats.

  3. Water Cay

A private, uninhabited and undeveloped island two miles long in the string of cays between Providenciales and North Caicos, with a wide white-sand beach on its north coast that boat cruises visit.

  4. Lizard Cay

A cay of about an acre close to Donna Cay in the Princess Alexandra National Park, with a limestone ironshore coast and light coastal plants inside.

  5. Bird Cay

A one-acre island of limestone ironshore on the eastern side of the Princess Alexandra National Park, mostly covered in salt-resistant coastal plants, with some mangroves on its west side.

  6. Half Moon Bay

A sandbar lagoon between Little Water Cay and Water Cay, reachable only by boat.

  7. Little Water Cay

Iguana Island: a nature reserve just off Leeward where the rock iguanas walk up to the boardwalk.

  8. Mangrove Cay

A small uninhabited red-mangrove island close to Leeward, inside the Princess Alexandra Nature Reserve.

  9. Grace Bay Beach

The beach the island is famous for: twelve miles of white sand and water in every shade of turquoise, sheltered by the barrier reef.

  10. Coral Gardens

The Bight Reef: a shore snorkel straight off Grace Bay, marked by buoys, with turtles most days.

  11. Smith's Reef

The other shore snorkel, by Turtle Cove: more coral heads, more fish, a little more current.

  12. Back to Turtle Cove Marina

    Where the tour ends.

durir · TripAdvisor, March 2026
"We explored stunning sandbars, wandered deserted islands that felt like something out of a postcard, cruised over to North Caicos... and snorkeled in the most crystal-clear turquoise water."
Tanya-k · TripAdvisor, July 2026
"Our family of 5 (aged 15 to 58) did the half-day private charter. The boat picked us up at the beach by our condo, and we spent the morning snorkeling, exploring Iguana Island, and having fun at Noah's Ark."

"They prepared fresh ceviche from the conch we caught - doesn't get any fresher than that - along with some of the best barbecue we had during our entire vacation."
